Application Process

  • Step 1
    Admissions
    • Most of the universities in Australia admit international students twice a year. And most ofthem follow a semester pattern, but some of them admit students in a trimester pattern.
    • Deadline for February intake is mid December, and the semester beginning in July closes inMay for international students.
    • Check deadlines for the universities of your choice before applying.
  • Step 2
    Qualification Assessmen
    • Most application forms require you to provide your personal details that includes:
    • Certified proof of your level of English language proficiency such as IELTS
    • Details of your previous academic qualifications such as academic transcripts
    • Your course preferences — the course(s) you are applying for and a summary of youremployment experience (if applicable)
  • Step 3
    Applications
    • Application fee of around AUD$50 to $100 is charged per application.
    • Before sending your application, check your visa requirements with your local Australian visaoffice or the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP)
  • Step 4
    Visa Process
    • Australia Student visa: students intending to study in Australia must meet certain requirements to qualify for a visa.
    • Once you are enrolled on a full-time study course, you can apply for a visa under Subclass500.
    • You can apply for the visa up to 124 days before the start of your course and you can travelto the country up to 90 days before the commencement of your course
  • Step 5
    Finance
    • Your Australia Student visa application must include the following documents: Electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCoE) certificate; Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) statement
    • Financial Requirements that you can fund your studies (funds to cover your return airfare,tuition fees and a sum of around AU$18,610 per year)
    • Your English Proficiency test (such as IELTS) result
    • Australian approved health insurance cover; and verification of your criminal records
